Last Sunday we had an ambitious plan which turned out to have been too much.

In the pretty mountains around Davos we found a lot of fresh snow on the
ridges and dangerous avalanche conditions. Even though it was a strenuous
day we were not able to reach any peaks.

After that we spent three nights in
the very pretty Jenatsch-Hütte, which we reached from the Julierpass.
Despite bad weather for the first couple days we were able to climb 8 peaks.
Finally on the third day it was nice and sunny and we reached the top of the
fiftiest mountain.


So we are still a little behind schedule but things are going well and we are both fit, except for a fiew little aches which I guess
is normal for what we are doing. Way up high we had winterlike conditions which is hard to believe once we got down to the already green valleys.


We have seen a lot of wildlife such as marmots which are just waking up from
hibernation, an eagle, deers and mountain goates (Gemsen).
